Post Thanksgiving Long Run

Running | Distance: 7.97 miles, Time: 1:30:05, Pace: 11:18 min/mile

So I didn’t manage to get my run in on Thanksgiving day, we had a very early morning and by the time the kids were in bed it was getting late and I just didn’t feel up to an hour long run that late at night. I still had to get up early enough this morning to get my long run in before things started for the day, but I did get out and get it done.

The biggest struggle on this run was the constant urge of needing to use the restroom, and now that it’s just about winter the porta-johns have all but been put away from some of my running routes. I managed the run well enough despite it.

I especially thought of the village of #Ronkorhun and their struggles for water. I continue to pray for the rains needed to grow their crops…
