For many even the road to a dirty water source is a treacherous one. A well placed well brings both clean water, and safety, to a village in Africa. In the village of Ronkorhun they must travel over a rickety bridge, during the rainy season when the creek is flowing, to get to a hole in the ground where they collect their water. Can you imagine risking your safety to get water that can make you sick? That’s the situation many of those in Afeica are in.
This morning was another speed work morning. On top of that I PR’d my 5K time with a 24:05 finish time. I’m on the tapper since the marathon is only a week-and-a-half away.
