Slogging Through 4 Miles On A Humid August Morning

Trying to go through even an “easy” run when the humidity is high is a challenge. When I get done I feel like I’ve taken the grossest shower anyone could ever take. On these days I take the coldest shower I can handle.

Oh, I have been running since last week, even 9 miles last Saturday, I just haven’t had the time to post them. For all of those running out in this weather be sure to stay hydrated and don’t try pushing yourself too hard.

Working Hard To Make It Easy

This morning during my prayer and worship time I immediately thought of the #EnableTheChildren staff and kids and the impact that rainy season has on them. I also focused on the #WorldHope teams as they work on drilling new wells. Praying for safety and success as the teams work to put the wells in that the #HWI team raised money for. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon

Every day is a new day, a chance to start again. While in the past my running focused a lot on trying to get faster, and hit another PR, this year feels like it’s it’s going to be a bit more of a reset and restoration year. #HWI #RiverBankRun #Run4Water #WhyIRun

    Running To The Worship Beat

This week starts a switch up of my Monday and Tuesday running schedule. All I can say is that the Spirit was moving while I listened to the worship music. My run was pretty much kicked onto high gear but the whole time the music was speaking to right where I’m at these days. I…
