Getting It Done, 17 Mile Marathon Training Run

Had some nice early morning weather for my 17 miles. I was so grateful to have the water stations out by the time I got through about half of my run. It was nice to not have to figure out how to drop water somewhere. It was a tougher run going it alone. I definitely appreciate being able to run with the group and visit while running. It takes your mind off of the run and helps to keep you motivated. There were people out on the trails by the 2nd half of my run so it was nice to have people to greet and get some encouraging words at times.

    Wet And Uncomfortable Morning Run

A bit of a wet morning, but not a downpour, so it kept things a little cooler. It was a good thing it was only just shy of 6 miles, as I needed to be able to make it home to get to the bathroom. That last mile was a bit uncomfortable. I was glad…
