Starting Off The Week With A Long Wet Training Run

Despite the rain and chill, caused by a little breeze, it was decent enough to get out for a longer run. The weather was still a big motivator to keep going, which unfortunately caused my pace to be faster than what the training plan called for, but oh well.

I enjoyed a run full of music, but I felt so overwhelmed by the needs of friends and family, physically; emotionally; and spiritually, that it was very hard to focus and being very specific in my prayers. Perhaps this morning was supposed to be more about worship then bringing the never-ending mound of needs to Him.

I’m still hoping to continue to raise money for more wells. I’d love to be able to hit that $2000 mark, not just because it’s my goal but I feel like there is such a huge need that I need to do all that I can to provide clean water to those in need. I’m looking forward to finding more that are willing to partner will me.

Last Full Training Week Before The Big Day

Pretty much unheard of for me today ended up being an evening training run, and an #Endomondo one at that. I started off way better than the start of a typical morning run, but given I’ve had a whole day to get my body moving that sort of makes sense. It was still pretty warm…
