Attempting To Follow The Plan

In an effort to actually take into consideration the things I read about running, and specifically training, I tried to slow things down today. I was still a bit faster than the training plan called for today but then it also felt like I was barely exerting myself, which is also kind of the point with slowing down and actually training my body and not just pounding on it. An additional benefit of slowing things down are being able focus and my one-on-one time with God. It allows me to actually listen to the words of the music that is playing, and listen to God’s prompting. Today was less about bring up my, or others, needs but about simply being thankful for where I am and how God has blessed me.
