Nailing The Saturday Long Run

This morning I really just ran to the worship music and went at the pace that felt comfortable. I’m pretty blown away to see how much I improved my pace in just a couple of weeks, where I finished with a 9:50 min/mi pace. I think the most enjoyable part of my run this morning was just being pleasantly surprised by the next worship song. When the next song came on I just got into a zone of focusing on the music and running in time with it. I loved it. When I run in the morning it has 2 main purposes for me, the first is to have a conversation starter to make people aware of the huge need for wells in Africa, and the other is to have a nice chunk of quiet time just me and God.
